Delaware Museum of Natural History

I have been a guest scientist at DelMNH for many years. I visit the museum multiple times a year to share science activities and demonstrations with guests of all ages. Check out this link to see a demo I presented on surface tension with coins!

Skype a Scientist

Through Skype a Scientist, I have had the opportunity to virtually visit K12 classrooms across the country! I've presented on many topics including how to conduct research, introduction to tissue engineering, and the science of slime.

How to Share Your Research with Everyone

At the 2021 AIChE Annual meeting, I presented a workshop on how to present research to a broad audience. This workshop was in preparation for our launch of an AIChE Three-Minute thesis (3MT) competition, which will debut at the 2022 Annual AIChE Meeting!

Hydrogels and Biomaterials

I have presented multiple sessions on hydrogels and biomaterials during K12 outreach events, including as a part of the Penn GEMS camp and Beta Day at Penn Bioengineering
